Yolanda Coentro is the President and CEO of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP), an organization advancing social justice by equipping the most promising and diverse nonprofit leaders with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to make their organizations effective, innovative, and sustainable. Under Yolanda’s leadership, INP is deepening programmatic impact, scaling nationally and has been positioned as a leader in equity and inclusion work in the sector.

A 2017 Social Innovation Forum ‘Social Innovator’, Yolanda was recently featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy as one of 15 More People Changing the Nonprofit World, is a 2018 recipient of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s TOYL (Ten Outstanding Young Leaders Awards), a 2019 Mentor in Residence at Simmons University and has been featured in a number of publications including the Boston Globe and Social Innovations Journal.

Yolanda has consulted with organizations and companies across sectors to advance organizational change and actualize their equity and inclusion objectives. She is currently an Overseer at the Boston Children’s Museum and serves on Independent Sector’s Public Policy Committee. A graduate of Boston College, she has a Master’s in Social Work and is a proud alum of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
