Sharon’s wide-ranging career includes top leadership roles in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Prior to founding OpenSpace Solutions she served as President at Unify Labs, a high-tech nonprofit committed to creating an expanding economy powered by inclusive prosperity, she served as Cuyahoga County Chief of Staff driving key initiatives including early childhood education expansion, workforce systems transformation, and the County’s first unified strategic plan. She was the first woman to serve as President & CEO of the Centers for Families and Children which tripled in size and reach under her leadership. Sharon started her career with the law firm of Schneider Smeltz Spieth Bell where she became a partner before leaving to serve as Cleveland’s Law Director and Special Counsel to the Mayor. She currently serves on several boards including the City Club of Cleveland, Cleveland Transformation Alliance, United Way of Greater Cleveland, and University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center.
