Jerry B. Partlow, founder and CEO of The Partlow Insurance Agency, Inc. has more than 30 years of experience in commercial insurance. Partlow is a former owner of J.V. Arthur, Inc. which was one of Virginia’s largest and most respected insurance Agencies for nearly a century. Partlow is committed to building the Partlow Insurance Agency with the same principles and qualities that proved to be so successful for J.V. Arthur, Inc. in the past.

Jerry is recognized nationally for his innovative designs and developments of Association related Insurance Programs. He has longstanding endorsements from NAPSEC (National Association of Private Special Education Centers) in Washington, D.C.; VAISEF (Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities) in Virginia; and ASAH (Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped) in New Jersey. Recently he has gained the endorsements of AAPSEP (the Arizona Association of Private Special Education Providers) and IAPSEC (the Illinois Association of Private Special Education Centers). He is also a recognized expert in malpractice insurance and related services for the medical industry. He serves on the National Agents Advisory Council for Philadelphia Insurance Company, is recognized nationally as a Key Agent with Philadelphia, and serves on the Commercial Round Table for the Erie Insurance Company.

In additional to his insurance experience, Jerry served on the Winchester City Council for three terms, 12 years. While on City Council he chaired the finance committee, the social service committee, and the education committee. He has also served and continues to serve on Boards of Directors for numerous nonprofit agencies. He has three grown children, four amazing grandchildren, and lives in Winchester.
