Sarah was an Investment Director at Impetus-PEF, the UK’s pioneer venture philanthropy foundation, where she had worked since 2009. She works closely with non-profit leadership teams and boards to agree their mission and strategy, improve their impact and to grow, alongside strengthening leadership, governance and financial sustainability. Sarah’s focus is on improving the educational attainment of young people from low income backgrounds, but she has also worked with non-profits in early years, mental health, reducing reoffending and employment. Prior to joining Impetus-PEF she worked for more than fifteen years in venture capital and fund management. Sarah has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
