Leap Ambassadors have access to and participate to the degree they choose in the main Leap Ambassadors Community (LAC), where dialogue centers on the overarching topic of high performance. To build and sustain connections within the community and bring greater focus to the work, ambassadors can also elect to participate in micro-communities.

Micro-communities:

• Advance specific issues, interests, or actions
• Work and share in a free-flowing way
• Communicate almost exclusively via email-based online discussion
• Have designated facilitators and ambassador advisors that help focus and initiate discussions
• Introduce editorial processes at end of discussions (via reverse content generation); nothing is pre-ordained
• Receive editorial, project coordination, and administrative support, as well as tech services and support from the Leap Ambassadors support team.

There have been many micro-communities over the years, previous ones have included Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Usage, Funding Performance, High Performance Pathways, Leadership/Talent Gap, Learning Groups, Performance Practice, PI Editorial, PI for Small Nonprofits, Pillar 4: Financial Strategy, Policy Initiative, Speakers Bureau, Talent Strategy/HR/Culture, and Youth PI.
